Injection moulding
Injection moulding provides the flexibility to produce all sizes of parts, with a wide range of weights, with different hardness levels and from standard or custom-formulated materials. The volume of material injected is defined by the press settings.
How does it work?
The press is fed with continuous strips of raw rubber, preheated in a barrel before being automatically injected into the mold cavities. The duration of the moulding cycle is linked to the nature of the elastomer and the shape of the part. Once vulcanization (curing) is complete, the rubber part is demolded then inspected.
